P250-M Superlotto winner finally claims prize
MANILA, Philippines - After a two-week wait, the lone winner of the P249-million "Super Lotto" jackpot draw last March 30 finally went to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office to claim his prize. Radio dzBB reported that the winner, whom the PCSO did not name for security reasons, admitted he was scared to claim his prize early. PCSO assistant general manager for online gaming Conrado Zabella would only describe the winner, earlier described as from Luzon, as a laborer. Zabella said the winner did not know how to spend the money but said he initially plans to build a house and deposit the rest of the money in a bank. The PCSO's Super Lotto jackpot last March 30 stood at P249,005,120.40, and was won with a combination of 1-15-29-32-46-47. Meanwhile, a lone winner bagged the P5,066,908 jackpot in the MegaLotto 6/45 draw Wednesday night, the PCSO said on its Web site. - GMANews.TV
