DOH logs 120 new COVID-19 cases
The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday recorded 120 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total nationwide caseload to 4,120,411 cases.
According to DOH’s most recent weather bulletin, the active case tally was at 2,792 cases.
The total recoveries climbed up to 4,050,883 with 404 new recoveries since Tuesday.
No new deaths have been recorded since Oct. 27, the death toll remains at 66,736 cases.
The region with the most active cases for the past 14 days is the National Capital Region with 664 cases, followed by CALABARZON with 290 cases, Central Luzon with 170 cases, Davao Region with 111 cases and Central Visayas with 98 new cases.
Meanwhile, 2,226 new samples were collected and submitted by over 276 laboratories on Thursday.
In 1,885 facilities, there was a reported 15.3% bed occupancy with 16,656 vacancies—1,917 of which are located in the Intensive Care Unit. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
