Bongbong Marcos back in Hawaii

HONOLULU - President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is back in Honolulu, Hawaii.

This time he came back as the 17th Philippine president who is on a working visit.

Flight PR 001 carrying the President and the entire Philippine delegation landed at Hickam Air Base on Sunday noon (PH Time).

To recall, Marcos, together with the late former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., former First Lady Imelda Marcos, and his siblings, fled to Honolulu on a US Air Force aircraft after the EDSA People Power Revolution.

This as his father was ousted from power in 1986.

The President spared some time for the Filipino community in Honolulu. Marcos said he would meet old friends who helped his family during their exile in Hawaii.

He would also pay a visit at the Indo Pacific Command.
