Philippines logs 107 new COVID-19 cases
The Philippines confirmed 107 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, bringing the country's total cases since the start of the pandemic to 4,123,314.
The Department of Health's COVID-19 tracker also showed that active cases decreased by 58 to 3,048, for the sixth reporting day of more than 3,000 active cases, according to the GMA Integrated News Research.
Recoveries rose by 165 cases to 4,053,511, while the death toll remains at 66,755.
The region with the most new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days is the National Capital Region with 618, followed by Calabarzon with 312, Central Luzon with 219, Western Visayas with 152, and Central Visayas with 108.
Among cities and provinces, Quezon City reported the most new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days with 170, followed by Cavite province with 106, Rizal province with 87, Laguna province with 69, and Makati City with 63.
COVID-19 bed occupancy is at 15.9%, with 3,074 beds occupied—including 1,935 in the ICU—and 16,286 vacant. — BM, GMA Integrated News
