Another worker dies in Trinoma accident

MANILA, Philippines - The fatalities in the accident in the parking area of a Quezon City mall has climbed to two. GMA’s 24 Oras reported that construction worker Rommel Panuelos succumbed to the injuries he suffered after he and four of his co-workers fell from the second floor of the parking area of Trinoma Mall. Panuelos was earlier in comatose condition following the incident. The other fatality was identified as Juan Mariano, who died around 3 p.m. due to severe head injuries. Another construction worker, Rafael Tala, is still in comatose at the East Avenue Medical Center where the victims were rushed. Two of their co-workers, Rommel Ricamora and Lionel Ortiz, sustained abrasions. Ayala Land, owner of the Trinoma Mall in Quezon City, has assured that financial assistance will be given to the victims. It also promised investigation on the incident. - GMANews.TV
