Zamboanga grad tops over 1,100 Pharmacist Licensure Exam passers


A graduate from the Universidad de Zamboanga (ZAEC) topped the 2024 Pharmacists Licensure Examination (PLE) conducted earlier this month, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.

A total of 1,185 out of 2,147 examinees passed the 2024 PLE given on April 16 and 17 in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga, the PRC said.

Rhedz-Wei Talling Hadjula of ZAEC garnered a 92.58% rating, emerging as the highest scorer in the exam. 

Anthony Tocayon of the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila followed  Hadjula with 92.50%, while Nick Corcino of the University of San Agustin (USA) ranked third with a 92.47% rating. 

Jemekka Jazmin Gladys Miaral of the USA landed fourth with a 91.47% rating and Faima Escandar Nain of ZAEC was fifth with 91.25%. 

Darlene Niña Melgarejo of USA was sixth with 91.10% and Wayne Rose Padayhag of San Pedro College-Davao followed at the seventh place with 90.95%.

Juan Miguel Olmedilla of Our Lady of Fatima University-Antipolo City was eighth with 90.85%. She was followed by Romuelle Barbado of Urdaneta City University with 90.80%.

Raksheedkhan Alaja Jainal of ZAEC completed the list of Top 10 passers with a rating of 90.62%. 

Meanwhile, Adamson University is the top-performing school for 2024 PLE with a 100% passing rate. —Sundy Locus/KBK, GMA Integrated News
