In a meeting of military retirees, veterans, and women's groups in Calamba, Laguna, independent candidate Ariel Querubin said the pension increases should cover all retirees, not just uniformed personnel, saying everyone is impacted by inflation.

The retired Marines officer added that pension rates should be regularly adjusted to match the increasing cost of living.
