Bong Go, Erwin Tulfo share top spots in Feb. 2025 Pulse Asia survey

Senator Bong Go and ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo now share the top spots in the latest senatorial preference survey conducted by Pulse Asia.
The survey, conducted from February 20 to 26, showed that Go and Tulfo can both land in the top one and two spots with 58.1% and 56.6 preference, respectively.
Compared to Pulse Asia’s January survey, Tulfo enjoyed a solo top one spot with Go only ranked second to third place. However, the latest survey showed that preference for Tulfo declined from 62.8% to 56.6% or by 6.2%.
In the latest Pulse Asia study, former senator Tito Sotto maintained in the third to fourth spot with 49% preference, followed by reelectionist Senators Bong Revilla (46.1%) and Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa (44.3%).
They were followed by TV host Willie Revillame with 42.3% preference, broadcaster Ben Tulfo with 40.7%, former senator Manny Pacquiao with 39.9%, reelectionist Senator Lito Lapid with 39.4%, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay with 37.6%, reelectionist Senator Pia Cayetano with 37.5%, Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar with 36.6% and former Senator Ping Lacson with 35.8%.

“If the May 2025 elections took place during the survey period, 13 candidates would make it to the winners’ circle. Most of the probable winners are either former or incumbent lawmakers and are running under the administration’s ‘Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas,’” Pulse Asia said in a statement.
In a phone interview with GMA News Online, Pulse Asia Research Director Ana Tabunda said the survey had a ±2 margin of error and was conducted among 2,400 respondents via random sampling.
There were no news or current events that were presented to the respondents during the conduct of the survey.
In a statement, Go thanked his supporters and said that he will continue to do his job despite the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte— a key figure in his political career.
“Maraming salamat po sa inyong patuloy na suporta at tiwala sa akin. Pero sobrang malungkot ako ngayon dahil sa mga nangyayari sa ating bansa. Para akong nawalan ng isang tatay,” Go said.
(Thank you for your continuous support for me. But I am very sad right now because of what is happening in our country. It felt like I lost a father.)
Dela Rosa, who climbed from 7th to 14th spot in January survey of Pulse Asia to 4th to 7th spot in the latest study, said on his Facebook account that this development in his rankings in Eleksyon 2025 was due to the “demolition job” against him.
“Very effective and demolition job nila sa akin at lumalabas dito sa Pulse Asia Survey,” Dela Rosa wrote on his Facebook.
