Asian Spirit airplane makes emergency landing at NAIA

An Asian Spirit flight from San Fernando, La Union made an emergency landing at 2:01 p.m. Monday, nearly an hour after schedule, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) due to a defective landing gear. The Manila-bound plane was supposed to land on NAIA at 1:05 pm. In a statement, NAIA assistant general manager for operations Bing Lina said the six passengers of Asian Spirit Airlines Flight 6K 763 were not hurt. The Air Transportation Office (ATO) aircraft accident investigation board is conducting a probe on the incident. -GMANews.TV
