Rains flood portions of Pasay City; traffic snarled


MANILA, Philippines - A sudden downpour caused floods and snarled traffic in some parts of Metro Manila Thursday evening, dzBB radio reported. In Pasay City, traffic grounded to a halt along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) Extension and the Pasay Rotonda area. The roads leading to the SM Mall of Asia complex were also congested as heavy rains forced motorists to slow down and come to a stop. Several streets, and even the Pasay City Hall and the local police station, was flooded in the wake of the heavy rains. The rains and floods also stranded many employees who had just knocked off work. - GMANews.TV
