DOTr warns public against individuals impersonating Dizon, staff

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Sunday warned the public against individuals claiming to be Secretary Vivencio “Vince” Dizon or his staff, and transacting through private messages or social media platforms.

In an advisory, the DOTr called on the public to ignore messages impersonating Dizon and his staff, and report them through the DOTr commuter hotline 09209643687.

“Please be advised that the Secretary, along with all DOTr officials and personnel, will never conduct official transactions outside the agency’s recognized and authorized channels,” the advisory read.

Dizon, who replaced former Transportation chief Jaime Bautista, took his oath of office before President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in February.—Jon Viktor Cabuenas/RF, GMA Integrated News
