Over 70K passengers logged at seaports on Good Friday morning

A total of 70,531 passengers were monitored at different seaports across the country on the morning of Good Friday, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported.

The PCG said 35,930 outbound passengers and 34,601 inbound passengers were recorded from 6 a.m. to 12 noon. on Friday.

A total of 4,822 frontline personnel were deployed in 16 PCG districts, who inspected 416 vessels and 1,845 motorized outriggers.

To manage the influx of port passengers, the PCG said heightened alert has been raised over its districts, stations, and sub-stations from April 13 to 20.
