Sara Duterte gives nod to Jimmy Bondoc: 'Justice in his voice'

Vice President Sara Duterte has formally endorsed singer-lawyer James Patrick "Jimmy" Bondoc in a new 25-second campaign advertisement.

In a political ad posted on Bondoc's Facebook page on Monday, Duterte urged voters to support Bondoc, making reference to his hit OPM song, "Let Me Be the One".

"Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, may hustisya sa kanyang tinig. Sa bayan ay tapat na umiibig. Let him be the one to protect the people," the Vice President said.

(There's justice in the voice of Atty. Jimmy Bondoc. He sincerely loves the nation. Let him be the one to protect the people.)

"Kay Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, ang inyong ginhawa ay musika sa tenga," she added.

(With Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, your comfort is music to the ears.)

Bondoc, in return, thanked VP Sara for the support.

Bondoc is among the ten candidates officially endorsed by the Partido ng Demokratiko Pilipino Lakas ng Bayan (PDP Laban), the party chaired by Sara's father, former President Rodrigo Duterte. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
