Tito Sotto says his Senate salary will go to scholarships if elected

SAN FERNANDO CITY, Pampanga — If senatorial candidate Vicente “Tito” Sotto III wins, he will use his salary as senator for a scholarship program that will benefit poor students.

Sotto mentioned this campaign promise for the first time here in Pampanga where the administration senatorial ticket, Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, attended four local campaign events hosted by the provincial government.

The local officials of Pampanga led by Governor Dennis Pineda hosted the campaign rallies for the 11 senatorial bets of the administration.

Only senatorial bet Panfilo “Ping” Lacson was absent in the campaign activities in Pampanga.
