Bong Revilla jokes with 'lips-to-lips' line in Pampanga campaign rally

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga —Reelectionist Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. on Wednesday jokingly offered “lips-to-lips” kisses to attendees of a campaign rally hosted by the local government.

The “lips-to-lips” line was mentioned by the reelectionist lawmaker at least twice in his speech in one sortie.

“Sa inyo pong lahat na naririto tanggalin ko na ‘yung salamin ko… Mamaya ili-lips-to-lips kita. Ikaw din,” Revilla said, addressing his excited supporters during the rally.

Revilla's jest appeared to be in response to a message on a craft paper held by some people in the crowd, saying: "Sen, Bong isang kiss mo lang tanggal na and pagod ko!!!"

Revilla repeated the offer after he expressed gratitude to the constituents of Pampanga for supporting not only his television and film career, but also his tenure as a public servant.

“Nandyan kayo palagi kay Bong Revilla. Palaging masarap ang inyong mga kurot, masarap ang inyong halik, ramdam na ramdam ko sa inyo ang mga yakap. Ang sabi ko nga kahit lips-to-lips, puwede na,” Revilla said.

“Sinisingil na ako dito,. Sinisingil na ako ng halik,” he went on as he responded to the crowd.

Other senatorial candidates of the administration’s Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas also did their own gimmicks to woo voters from the eighth most vote-rich province in the Philippines for Eleksyon 2025.

Senatorial candidate and boxing legend Manny Pacquiao sang the famous Kapampangan folk song Atin Cu Pung Singsing which drew cheers from the crowd.

The crowd went wild when reelectionist Senator Lito Lapid, who hailed from Pampanga, entered the stage.

Meanwhile, senatorial candidate Vicente “Tito” Sotto III mentioned the Kapampangan roots of his wife, actress Helen Gamboa, to get votes from Pampanga.

Of the 11 senatorial candidates of the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, only senatorial candidate Ping Lacson was absent during the campaign activities held in Pampanga today.
