LOOK: Marcos, Liza had anniversary date in Rome

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise ''Liza'' Araneta-Marcos had an anniversary dinner on April 26 in Rome, Italy before heading home.

The President and Liza celebrated their anniversary on April 17.

The First Couple was in Vatican City to attend the funeral of Pope Francis. Marcos has said he attended the pontiff's funeral “as a gesture of deep respect.”

The funeral mass for the late pontiff at St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican drew world leaders, dignitaries, and thousands of Catholic faithful from around the globe.

Meanwhile, during the trip, the First Lady proudly strolled the streets in Rome using a bag made in Marikina.

''Strolling through the streets of Rome with my trusty Marikina bag - - proudly carrying a piece of home wherever I go!'' Liza said.
