Marcos announces Libreng Sakay for MRT-3, LRT-1, 2

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. announced Tuesday free MRT 3 and LRT 1 and 2 rides for commuters in the observance of Labor Day.

Marcos said the Libreng Sakay would be offered from April 30 to May 3 to honor the contributions of the labor sector.

“Nais kong sabihin sa lahat ng ating mga commuter ay inutos ko na para magbigay ng ating kaunting parangal sa ating mga manggagawa, Labor Day Celebration, ay maging libre ang sakay sa MRT-3, LRT-1 and 2,” Marcos said in a video message.

(I wish to inform our commuters that I have ordered that in order to give honor to our workers, Labor Day celebration, there will be free rides at MRT-3, LRT-1 and 2.)

“Ito ay mula April 30 hanggang May 3. Ito ay bilang kaunting pagkilala sa sakripisyo at ang kontribusyon ng ating mga manggagawa hindi lamang sa ating ekonomiya kundi sa ating lipunan. Happy Labor Day!” he added.
