Some tourist spots in Sorsogon closed due to Bulusan eruption
Tourists have been prohibited from going to some tourist areas in Sorsogon due to the recent activity of Bulusan Volcano.
On Facebook, Sorsogon Provincial Tourism Officer Bobby Gigantone said these destinations include those in Juban, Casiguran, and a part of Irosin.
The decision was made in coordination with the Inter-Agency Coordinating Council and the Sorsogon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
"So temporarily, based on the decision of the local government unit as recommended by the interagency task force for Bulusan, wala na muna ang pinapahintulutan ng mga magbibisita,” Gigantone said.

Gigantone said visitors may still visit other tourist spots in Sorsogon, but they must follow the advisories to ensure their safety.
He urged tourists to inquire first about the area's situation before visiting.
“Ang aming opisina naman ay magabukas para ma-assist po kayo kung saan kayo pupunta para po hindi po malagay sa alanganin,” Gigantone said.
