PPCRV seeks additional volunteers for Eleksyon 2025

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) is looking for more volunteers to help monitor the 2025 local and national elections.

In a public briefing, PPCRV national coordinator Arwin Serrano said at least 350,000 volunteers have already committed to aid the Church's election watchdog.

(We are still in need of additional volunteers, so just register at your nearest Catholic parish. You don't have to be a Catholic. All kinds of religion are welcome as long as you make sure you are non-partisan in your desire to volunteer at PPCRV.)

The PPCRV is accredited as a citizens’ arm of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) during polls.

Serrano also urged voters to list the candidates they will vote for convenience.

"Mabilis tayong makakaboto kasi hindi na roon sa araw na iyon na mag-iisip pa tayo ng atin pong mga ibuboto, mapanasyonal man po iyan o mapalokal," Serrano said.

(You can write more efficiently because you would not have to decide on the spot whether it's on the national or local positions.)

(And above all, let us vote properly, correctly, wisely, and with a prayerful vote.)

Election Day will be on May 12, 2025. —LDF, GMA Integrated News
