Cops nab suspects in killing of used car dealer in Parañaque


Police have arrested suspects in connection with the killing of a used car dealer and the theft of an SUV in Parañaque City.

According to the Southern Police District, two of the suspects who posed as car buyers shot the 32-year-old victim during a meet-up arranged through social media.

The suspects fled the scene after the close-range shooting, according to the police. One of them boarded a motorcycle while the other used the victim’s SUV.

The stolen vehicle of the victim and the getaway motorcycle of one of the suspects were found abandoned in Barangay Don Bosco.

Police in a follow-up operation arrested three male individuals engaged in a pot session inside a house.

The three suspects named two alleged gunmen in the car dealer’s killing as alias Jovillo, 32 years old, and alias Ryan, 40 years old.

At 11:50 p.m. on Monday, police arrested the two alleged gunmen in Barangay Don Bosco.

Recovered from the two suspects were two unlicensed firearms and around 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000.

Witnesses positively identified the two as the perpetrators of the shooting and robbery incident, according to the police.

The two primary suspects will face charges for murder, carnapping, illegal possession of firearms, and illegal drugs, the SPD said.

Meanwhile, the three others will face charges for illegal drugs. –NB, GMA Integrated News
