7 in 10 Filipinos see rising price of goods as top national concern –survey
As the election unfolds on Monday, a survey revealed that seven out of 10 Filipinos believe that soon-to-be elected officials and those currently in position should immediately address the rising price of goods.
According to Vicki Morales' report on GMA Integrated News' #Eleksyon2025 special coverage, a Pulse Asia survey showed that the rising price of goods is the top national concern among respondents, garnering 69%.
Meanwhile, 36% said increasing workers' wages should be prioritized, followed by fighting graft and corruption (28%), combating criminality (28%), and reducing poverty (27%).
The survey was conducted with a sample of 2,400 Filipinos on March 23 to 29, selected through multistage probability sampling.
