Voters head to malls for Eleksyon 2025
The Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) mall voting initiative saw hundreds of voters troop to shopping centers across the country to cast their ballots on Monday, May 12, Election Day.
A report by Super Radyo dzBB’s Mark Makalalad showed voters lined up to vote at SM East Ortigas in Pasig City.

GMA Regional TV News, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), likewise showed voters arriving at a mall in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
Voters from Brgy. Tanglaw, Manggahan, and Brgy. Maningning continue to arrive at another mall in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, one of the two malls in the city participating in COMELEC's mall voting program for #Eleksyon2025.

Robinsons Place Manila also posted on its Facebook page photos of the mall voting situation at the shopping mall.
Comelec Region VII’s Facebook page also shared photos of some voters casting their votes inside Robinsons Galleria Cebu City.
Voters also flocked to Robinsons Sta. Rosa in Laguna to cast their votes.
The Comelec’s mall voting program seeks to provide a comfortable voting environment, especially to persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and pregnant women.
There are 42 malls participating in the poll body’s mall voting initiative.
The poll body earlier said that mall owners and operators lent their facilities, personnel, and equipment for the elections for free. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
