PPCRV to begin 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. ops starting May 16, 2025

The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) announced Thursday that it will operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. beginning Friday, May 16.

“We’re no longer monitoring the count (transmitted votes) 24/7. It also allows our volunteers to rest,” PPCRV spokesperson Ana Singson told reporters.

PPCRV has been operating 24/7 for four days since election day on May 12, 2025.

She added that the audit of election returns will continue until June 12.

Singson said PPCRV currently has 16,226 election returns (ERs), which is equivalent to 17.4% of ERs nationwide.

She also reiterated the call for more volunteers.
