Marcos leaves Malaysia after ASEAN Summit, other meetings

KUALA LUMPUR – President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos has left this city after participating in the 46th ASEAN Summit and related summits.
The PR001 carrying Marcos and the entire delegation left at midnight on Wednesday. He is expected to arrive in Manila past 3:00 a.m.
On the sidelines of the summit, he had bilateral talks with Vietnam, Lao PDR, Thailand, Cambodia, and Kuwait.
He also pushed for the adoption of the Code of Conduct on the South China Sea while discussing with other states the impact of US unilateral tariffs.
The Philippines will be the chairman for the ASEAN Summit in 2026. –NB, GMA Integrated News
