Air Force holds ‘all-in-one’ bayanihan in Palawan


The Philippine Air Force, in coordination with other agencies, on Friday conducted an “all-in-one” bayanihan outreach in Balabac, Palawan.

According to the Tactical Operations Wing West of the Air Force, the services offered are minor surgeries, cataract and pterygium operations, circumcision, prescription glasses for students, reading glasses for distribution at the Balabac District Hospital; check-ups, face painting, photo booth, haircuts, food cart and feeding at the Balabac Covered Gym; as well as dental extraction at the Balabac Central School.

The Air Force said school supplies, food packs, water filters, clothing, among others will be distributed at the covered gym.

The activity is expected to benefit 5,000 beneficiaries.

It will be held on June 7, Saturday.

The event was organized by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Go Share Philippines, the Balabac Government, and the Balabac District Hospital. —Joahna Lei Casilao/LDF, GMA Integrated News
