Gov't agencies ready for rainy season — Palace
Malacañang assured the public Tuesday that the government is ready for the rainy season and the opening of classes for School Year 2025-2026.
At a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro said concerned agencies are prepared for the effects of the rainy weather, especially that classes in schools will also start next week.
''Handa naman po lagi ang mga ahensiyang concerned kapag po paparating ang tag-ulan. At nakausap po natin at nasabi na rin po ng Office of the Civil Defense ang kanilang kahandaan,'' Castro said.

''Ang sabi po nila ay naka-focus sila sa prepositioning of goods like shelter repair kits, hygiene kits, water filtration kits, air-to-water units at marami pa pong iba. Pati po ang DSWD, and DOH at iba pang ahensiya ay handa po,'' she added.
