Henry Aguda reappointed as DICT chief —Palace
By ANNA FELICIA BAJO, GMA Integrated News
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. has reappointed Henry Rhoel Aguda as secretary of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
This was confirmed by Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro on Tuesday.
To recall, the Commission on Appointments bypassed the ad interim appointment of Aguda as DICT chief due to “lack of material time.”
Aguda took his oath as DICT secretary before the President on March 25.
Aguda was part of Marcos’ Digital Infrastructure Lead at the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC), and has experience in the banking, technology and telecommunications sectors with specialization in digital transformation, digital banking and financial crimes.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
