CIT University grad tops July 2025 master plumbers licensure exam

A graduate of the Cebu Institute of Technology (CIT) University topped the July 2025 master plumbers licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission said.

According to the PRC, 2,971 out of 5,145 test takers passed the master plumbers licensure examination given by the Board for Master Plumbers at test centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban and Puerto Princesa, Palawan earlier this month.

Jeffrey Hugo de Castro of CIT University achieved the top score of 87.90%, while the top performing schools with at least 10 examinees are the Diliman and Los Baños campuses of the University of the Philippines, both with all of their test takers passing.
