Palace bares new member of PNOC Board of Directors

Malacañang on Friday announced the appointment of Ma. Cristina Sheila Canag Cabaraban as member of the Board of Directors of the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC).

This was announced by Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro during a press briefing.

The PNOC was created in 1973 to ensure an adequate supply of oil and oil products to sustain the economy’s growth and the nation’s social well-being.

Since then, amendments have been made to its charter to include the country’s exploration, exploitation, and development of all energy resources.—LDF, GMA Integrated News
