Marcos now en route to Manila after state visit to India

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Friday concluded his five-day state visit to India.

The PR001 carrying the President and his entire delegation left Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru at 1:38 p.m. (PH time).

In his visit, several agreements and business deals were secured between the Philippines and India.

The two countries also elevated their relations to a strategic partnership. They also agreed to continue leveling up their collaboration in connection with defense and security.

Marcos also expressed gratitude to the Indian government for its adherence to international law, including UNCLOS and the 2016 arbitral ruling, which invalidated China's massive claims in the South China Sea. —AOL, GMA Integrated News
