Valle Verde fire under control

MANILA, Philippines – Firefighters have brought under control the fire that hit a house inside the Valle Verde 4 subdivision in Pasig City Friday night, radio DZBB reported. Gutted by the fire was the house at No. 26 Oliva St. owned by Aurora Pineda, according to the radio report. Bureau of Fire Protection investigators said they are eyeing electrical overload as the likely cause of the fire that started in one of the rooms of the house. The report said firewalls prevented the fire from spreading to other houses. - GMANews.TV
