Marcos thankful for Cambodia's hospitality during state visit
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by Cambodian top officials during his recently concluded state visit.
According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Tuesday, Marcos was thankful for the hospitality granted to him and his entire delegation as he highlighted the long-standing and growing relationship between the Philippines and Cambodia.
Acting Head of State and Senate President of Cambodia Hun Sen hosted a state banquet in honor of Marcos.
The state banquet was held at the Peace Palace, the official office of the Prime Minister of Cambodia.
During a bilateral meeting, Marcos and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet reaffirmed both countries' commitment to strengthening cooperation in key areas such as trade, security, and people-to-people exchanges.
Marcos' state visit was a reciprocal visit following the Cambodian Prime Minister's trip to the Philippines in February 2025. — VDV, GMA Integrated News
