What's Marcos birthday wish? It's to ensure no Filipino goes hungry
President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Tuesday shared his birthday wish and that is to ensure that no Filipino goes hungry.
Speaking to reporters in Cambodia, Marcos said his wish has remained the same since the beginning of his political career.
“Hindi naman nagbabago ‘yung mga birthday wish ko mula noong simula hanggang ngayon na naging Pangulo ako. At iyon na nga, maging maayos ang buhay ng bawat Pilipino, na maituloy natin lahat ng ating proyekto para matulungan lalong-lalo na ‘yung mga mahihirap,'' Marcos said.
(My birthday wishes have not changed since the beginning until now that I have become President. And that is, that every Filipino's life should be good, that we can continue all our projects to help especially the poor.)
He said his greatest aspiration is for the Philippines to become a nation where no Filipino goes hungry.
“At ganoon pa rin hindi talaga nagbabago: Sana maabot natin ‘yung aking – at aabutin natin – ‘yung aking pinapangarap na wala ng gutom na Pilipino,” the President said.
(And that still doesn't really change: I hope we can achieve my – and we will achieve – my dream of no more hungry Filipinos.)
