Screenshots of senator, alleged aide's conversations with DPWH engineers presented in probe
Screenshots of a senator and an alleged member of another senator's conversations with former officials of the Bulacan First District Engineering Office were presented before the House inquiry on anomalous flood control projects on Tuesday.
According to Tina Panganiban-Perez's report on "24 Oras," screenshots of the disappearing messages on a messaging app allegedly between Sen. Joel Villanueva and former Henry Alcantara were presented before the House Infrastructure Committee.
Former DPWH officer Jaypee Mendoza told the committee that he took the screenshots of the disappearing messages on Alcantara's phone.
Hernandez also showed conversations in December 2022 with a certain Beng Ramos, whom he said was a staffer of Sen. Jinggoy Estrada.
Both Villanueva and Estrada have denied any role in the irregularities related to undelivered or 'ghost' and substandard flood control projects.
Estrada has denied having a Beng Ramos on his staff. –NB, GMA Integrated News
