PISTON to hold transport strike vs corruption
Transport group PISTON on Sunday said it will conduct a nationwide transport strike on Thursday, September 18, to protest the alleged corruption on flood control projects at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
The transport strike aims to call for accountability from officials and contractors involved in the alleged misuse of taxes, according to a Super Radyo dzBB report by Mao dela Cruz.
The nationwide transport strike will begin at 5 a.m.

PISTON urged the public to join their call for accountability, since every Filipino is affected by the alleged corruption.
