100 runners from UP Diliman join Luneta rally
By GMA Integrated News
A group of around 100 runners took part in a community run from the University of the Philippines in Quezon City to join the anti-corruption rally at Luneta in Manila, early Sunday morning.
In her report for GMA Integrated News, Bea Pinlac said the runners, mostly clad in black running gear, took part regardless of the weather to finish the 16-kilometer route and take part in the mass protest action, Baha sa Luneta, at the Rizal Park.
Many participants said the activity is a way for them to make a stand and to express their support for those seeking justice to those involved in corruption allegations amid revelations emerging from the flood corruption anomalies between government officials and private contractors. —RF, GMA Integrated News.
