Sept. 21 protesters march from Luneta to Mendiola, EDSA Shrine to People Power Monument

September 21 rallyists at Luneta Park have begun marching towards Mendiola, while those at the EDSA Shrine started inching their way to the People Power Monument to continue their protests against the corruption of flood control project funds.

From Luneta, groups including the Makabayan bloc, League of Filipino Students, Sinag Bayan, and Student Movement of the Philippines joined the march. 

Kabataan party-list Renee Co, Gabriela part-list Rep Sarah Elago and ACT Teachers Rep. Antonio Tinio were also present.

Earlier, several movie and television personalities were also present at Luneta like Angel Aquino, Jodi Sta. Maria, Elijah Canlas, Maris Racal and Tessie Tomas.

Meanwhile, participants at the Trillion Peso March, who gathered at the EDSA Shrine Sunday morning, also started moving to the People Power Monument for more protest activities.

On the frontlines of the march are Senators Kiko Pangilinan, Bam Aquino and Risa Hontiveros, Party-list Representative Leila de Lima and other personalities. —LDF, GMA Integrated News
