PRC releases October 2025 chemists, chemical technicians licensure exams results


A graduate of the University of the Philippines-Manila achieved the top score in the computer-based licensure examination for chemists held this month, while a Batangas University graduate took the top spot in the exam for chemical technicians.

According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 842 out of 1,150 passed the chemists computer-based licensure exam and 2,320 out of 2,766 passed the chemical technicians licensure exam, both given by the Board of Chemistry at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban and Zamboanga.

Crisandro Allen Rogel Lazo of UP Manila scored a 94.35% in the chemists computer-based licensure exam, while the top performing school with at least 50 examinees is the University of the Philippines Los Baños, with 62 of its 65 test takers passing.

Meanwhile, for the chemical technicians licensure exam, Abell Armamento Alcantara of Batangas State University was the highest scorer with a 95.50% grade, while the top performing school with at least 50 examinees is the Technological University of the Philippines-Visayas, with all 67 of its test takers passing.
