LOOK: Marcos holds bilateral meetings with Canada, Thailand PMs
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Sunday held bilateral meetings with the prime ministers of Canada and Thailand on the sidelines of the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Malaysia.
The meetings were held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
In a photo shared by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) to members of media, Marcos was seen shaking hands with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
He also met with Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.

The leaders met earlier on Sunday for a plenary session of the 47th ASEAN Summit, wherein Timor-Leste was officially recognized as the 11th member of the Southeast Asian bloc.
Marcos arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday to attend the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits set to run from October 26 to 28.
On Sunday morning before 9 a.m., Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos were welcomed by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. —KG, GMA Integrated News
