Gov't monitoring Typhoon Tino, Cabinet members to visit affected areas
As it assured the public that the government is continuously monitoring the effects of the Typhoon Tino, Malacañang said Tuesday that some members of the cabinet will visit the provinces most affected by the typhoon.
“Tinitiyak ng pamahalaan ang patuloy na pagkilos upang mapabilis ang pagbangon ng ating mga kababayan. Manatiling alerto at makinig sa abiso ng inyong mga lokal na opisyal,” Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro said in a briefing.

“Tutungo rin ang ilang miyembro ng Gabinete sa mga pinaka-apektadong probinsya upang personal na alamin ang kalagayan at tiyaking naibabalik agad ang mga pangunahing serbisyo,” she added.
Signal No.4 remains raised over eight areas even as the typhoon slightly weakened, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.
Castro said that Tino has affected more than 340,000 individuals in 1,397 barangays in MIMAROPA, Bicol, Western and Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Negros Island Region.
Meanwhile, over 175,000 have been evacuated from the said regions.
She said the Department of Social Welfare and Development has prepositioned food packs and relief goods in the affected regions, which are now ready for distribution.
Meanwhile, the Department of Energy and the National Electrification Administration are addressing power outages while the Department of Public Works and Highways and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority have mobilized clearing teams.
Classes for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, were suspended in some areas due to the expected effects of Typhoon Tino.
