ES Recto on gov't work suspension on Dec. 26, 29: Fake news

Executive Secretary Ralph Recto on Thursday dismissed as fake news the supposed memorandum suspending government work on December 26 and 29, 2025.

“It’s fake,” Recto told GMA News Online when asked about the legitimacy of the supposed Memorandum Circular No. 47.

The supposed memo aims to foster the spirit of togetherness and allow government employees meaningful time to spend with their families and loved ones during the holiday season.
