Bonoan attends resumption of Senate probe into flood control projects
Former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) secretary Manuel Bonoan on early Monday afternoon arrived at the Senate to testify before the Blue Ribbon Committee’s hearing into the anomalous flood control projects.
Bonoan, who has just recently returned to the Philippines, arrived at the Senate premises shortly before 1 p.m.
Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III earlier signed the subpoena ad testificandum for Bonoan, and other individuals the blue ribbon committee wishes to hear from in the resumption flood control hearing.
The Senate Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms went to Bonoan's house on Monday morning, but he was not in the premises, based on a tweet of Mav Gonzales of GMA Integrated News.
