CA OKs appointment, nominations of 57 AFP officials

The Commission on Appointments (CA) on Tuesday confirmed the ad interim appointments and nominations of 57 officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

This came after the CA committee on national defense, earlier in the day, endorsed to the plenary the confirmation of the ad interim appointments of 53 AFP generals, a flag officer, and senior officers; as well as the nominations of four others.

The motion was approved by Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, who sits as the ex officio chairman of the CA.
