ES Recto, Chinese envoy talk about SCS issue, trade ties

Executive Secretary Ralph Recto and Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Jing Quan have met and discussed their views about relations between the Philippines and China.

According to the Chinese Embassy in Manila, the two officials met on April 14 at Recto's office in Malacañang Palace. 

''The two sides exchanged views on China-Philippines relations, and a wide range of issues including South China Sea, law enforcement cooperation, economic and trade ties, as well as people-to-people exchanges,'' the embassy said in a social media post.

No information was given yet by the Office of the Executive Secretary regarding the meeting.  —VAL, GMA News
