Ombudsman Remulla posts P461 million net worth

Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla reported a net worth of P461.1 million as of April 30, 2026 in his joint Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) with his wife, Ma. Josefina.

His assets consist of P112.8 million worth of real properties and P348.5 million in personal properties.

His P112.8 million worth of real properties include:

  • P35-million residential house and lot in Las Piñas City
  • P20-million farm lot in Indang, Cavite
  • P9-million residential house and lot in Makati City
  • P8-million residential house and lot in Parañaque City
  • P8-million residential house and lot in Las Piñas City
  • P8-million farm lot in Indang, Cavite
  • P5.8-million residential house and lot in Baguio City
  • P5.2-million farm lot in Indang, Cavite
  • P5-million residential house and lot in Tagaytay City
  • P3.2-million residential lot in Cavite
  • P3-million commercial land and building in Guadalupe, Makati
  • P1.8-million farm lot in Indang, Cavite
  • P350,000 residential house and lot in Baguio City
  • P400,000 residential house and lot in Cavite

The Ombudsman’s personal properties include:

  • P280.6 million cash on bank acquired from sales of stocks, real and personal properties inherited from the late Juanito Remulla, with acceptance of Deed of Donation inter vivos by mother Ditas Remulla, and proceeds from the sale of stocks
  • P44 million worth of various motor vehicles
  • P16.56 million cash on bank acquired from sales of stocks, real and personal Properties inherited from the late Juanito Remulla, with acceptance of Deed of Donation inter vivos by mother Ditas Remulla, and proceeds from the sale of stocks
  • P6.5 million worth of furniture and fixtures, jewelries and personal belongings
  • P250,000 from South Livestock stocks
  • P50,000 from South 7 Realty stocks

On the other hand, he posted P300,000 worth of liabilities consisting of a P200,000 personal loan and an P100,000 unpaid subscription to LA Poch Villa Realty, Inc.

Remulla is a shareholder in South Livestock and South 7 Realty, which are based in Imus Cavite. He is also a shareholder of the Makati City-based LA POCH Villa Realty, Inc.

The Ombudsman is the brother of Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla.

Three of his children are in politics: Cavite Congressman Crispin Diego Remulla, Cavite Governor Gabriel Remulla, and Naic, Cavite Vice Mayor Jacinta Remulla.

Remulla was appointed Ombudsman last October after serving as Justice Secretary for more than three years.
