Comelec begins printing of computerized voters' lists for BARMM polls
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Monday began the printing of computerized voters’ lists (CVLs) for the first parliamentary elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Comelec is printing the CVLs at the National Printing Office in Quezon City.
According to Allan Gatus' report on Super Radyo dzBB, Comelec aims to complete the printing on June 30.
The posted CVL will contain the names of voters and their respective numbers, while the election day CVL is where the voters will sign after casting thier votes.
After the CVLs are printing, it will undergo verification before the packing ang receiving committee will take over.
Meanwhile, during the walkthrough of the Data Center 3 in Makati City, Comelec chairperson George Garcia said the poll body is expected to print the ballot on the first week of July.
Comelec will also conduct a voting machine simulation in Tawi-Tawi and Maguindanao del Sur on Saturday to test the transmission of election results. — BM, GMA News
