Eligible Filipino citizens can avail UAE visa-on-arrival starting June 25, 2026
Filipino citizens traveling to the United Arab Emirates and using Philippine passports with a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from certain countries are eligible for visa-on-arrival by the UAE, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced.
The grant, which is to take effect on June 25, 2026, are for Filipinos with travel documents from the following countries: United States of America, European Union member states, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Republic of Korea, Canada, and New Zealand.
For those who plan to stay in the UAE for 14 days, upon payment of United Arab Emirates dirham (AED) 100 may be extended once for an additional 14 days at a fee of AED 250.
A payment of AED 250 is required for travelers who opt to stay for 60 days, which is non-extendable.
"The visa-on-arrival privilege extended to Filipino citizens by the UAE was in view of the excellent bilateral relations between the Philippines and the UAE," said the DFA. — BAP, GMA News
