Rodante Marcoleta now fit to travel, only needs to complete antibiotics —PNPGH
The Philippine National Police General Hospital (PNPGH) said Monday that Senator Rodante Marcoleta is fit to travel once he completes his antibiotic for mild pneumonia.
In a report by Mark Makalalad on Super Radyo dzBB, PNPGH Internal Medicine chief Police Lt. Col. Benaly Bayani said that Marcoleta is expected to finish his antibiotic intake on Wednesday, July 15.
Marcoleta is in detention for a P75-million plunder case over his undeclared campaign donations. Two days after his arrest, the PNPGH diagnosed Marcoleta with mild pneumonia and degenerative disc disease.
In Makalalad’s report, Marcoleta is now in stable condition, and his blood pressure is controlled at 130/90.
However, despite Marcoleta being fit for travel, Bayani said she could not yet specify the exact time or day he would be transferred to a detention facility.
According to Bayani, the PNPGH has submitted an updated medical report on Marcoleta’s health to the Sandiganbayan. —Lyjah Tiffany Bonzo/AOL, GMA News
