Palace expects 'no drama' once impeachment court tackles Sara Duterte's confidential funds
Palace Press Officer Usec. Claire Castro expressed hope Thursday hope that there will be no drama and no concealing of truth once Vice President Sara Duterte's alleged misuse of P612.5 million in confidential funds is discussed in the Senate impeachment court.
“Ang inaasahan po natin ay walang drama, walang pagtatago ng katotohanan, at walang pag-iwas sa totoong issue na kinakaharap dito sa impeachment trial,” Castro said at a Palace briefing.
(What we expect is that there will be no drama, no hiding of the truth, and no avoiding the real issues that are being faced here in the impeachment trial.)
“Gusto lang naman din po ng lahat ng ating kababayan ay lumabas ang katotohanan at hindi ang drama sa loob ng Senado,” she added.
(Our countrymen just want the truth to come out and not the drama inside the Senate.)
