Indian national who committed suicide in Cagayan identified

CANDON CITY, Ilocos Sur - Police authorities have already identified the Indian national found hanging by a mango tree in Sta. Ana, Cagayan. Sta. Ana Police Chief Inspector Jake Cumigad said the body was that of Balinder Singh, 25, a resident of Mayon St. in San Gabriel district in Tuguegarao City. He said Singh committed suicide on the night of Thursday at the compound of the residence of one Romeo Pador. The Sta. Ana residents whom Singh met that night said that the Indian felt dejected and was looking for a place to stay. He even borrowed a blanket so he can sleep by the port, they said. The identification was made possible through Singh's countrymates in Tuguegarao City. - GMANews.TV
